Jim Allison

Worked nearly 60 years in various capacities for newspapers in Belleville, Ill., Santa Barbara, Corpus Christi, Louisville, Fort Lauderdale and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Wrote a book on word usage. Currently working on two books and two family histories. Also taught journalism at the Army Information School. Graduate of McKendree College, where I was editor of the campus newspaper and a member of the tennis team.
