Rylee Bloomer

Parent(s):  Justin and Michelle Bloomer
Plans after high school:  I plan on attending Olney Central College in the Fall to play softball and obtain my Associates degree in Science and Arts, then enter OCC's nursing program.
Long-term career goals:  My long-term goal is to become an ER nurse or a flight nurse at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.
Expression of thanks:  I am sincerely honored to have been selected as the recipient of the Tiger Pride Alumni Association Scholarship! I appreicate your generosity which will help me to reach my academic goals!

 


Danielle Brown

Parent(s):  Brad and Julie Brown
Plans after high school:  I plan to attend Olney Central College for two years to get my degree in Radiography then go to either Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville or University of Sounthern Indiana to further my education.
Long-term career goals:  I want to work at a hospital close to home as a radiographer and make enought money to support me and my loved ones.
Expression of thanks:  Thank you so much for this scholarship! This award means a lot to me and I can't wait for it to help me on my academic journey.

 


Grayce Burgener

Plans after high school:  Attend Olney Central College for one year and get my Associates degree, then transfer to University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and get a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.  Then, I plan on going to Law School and becoming a lawyer.
Long-term career goals:  I plan on getting a law degree and would like to return to Olney and open a law practice.
Expression of thanks:  Thank you for the generous scholarship you have provided me with.  I'm very grateful to go to a school where the community & alumni give back and support the students.  Receiving this scholarship will lighten the financial burden of pursuing my degree.  Thanks to your generosity, I am one step close to achieving my educational goals.  

 


Mahayla Clore

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend Olney Central College for general studies and transfer to a university.
Long-term career goals:  My goal is to work with animals as a Veterinarian and hopefully start my own practice with a clinic.
Expression of thanks:  I am so thankful that I was chosen for this scholarship!  It is an honor to be a Tiger Pride Alumni Association scholarship recipient! I will put my award to great use at Olney Central College.

 


Riley Harrolle

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend Vincennes University this Fall to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with an endorsement in Elementary Education.
Long-term career goals:  My long-term career goals include creating a safe and loving learning environment, continuously provide students with different learning strategies, annually gain certificates to benefit my students, and most importantly meet the needs of the whole child.
Expression of thanks:  Thank you for awarding me this scholarship.  I'm so grateful to receive this money and I'm excited to put it towards my first year at Vincennes University this Fall.  Thank you for helping me reach my goal of being a Special Education Teacher!

 


Madison Hicks

Plans after high school:  Attend Olney Central College to gain an Associates degree either in Art or Accounting.
Long-term career goals:  Earn a career at a bank while having a side job animating on YouTube.
Expression of thanks:  Thank you deeply for the scholarship.  This money will go towards my college education and will pose essential to purchasing the proper supplies for classes.  Thank you, again with my deepest gratitude.

 


Lucy Johnson

Plans after high school:  I plan on attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and majroing in Special Education.
Long-term career goals:  I plan on becoming a Special Education Teacher and eventually going back to receive my Master's degree in Administration.
Expression of thanks:  I want to thank the Tiger Pride Alumni Association for awarding me this scholarship.  This money will be extremely helpful for my future endeavors.

 


Sean Joyce

Plans after high school:  Attend Washington University in St. Louis to study Fine Arts and Architecture.
Long-term career goals:  Work in animation or game design.

Mya Kessler

Parent(s):  Stephen and Nicole Kessler
Plans after high school:  Attend Olney Central College to get a transfer degree and then go to a four year university to major in Wildlife Biology and minor in Psychology.  
Long-term career goals:  To have a stable job rehabilitating animals and taking part in conservation efforts in order to better the environment and help all creatures.
Expression of thanks:  I immensely appreciate receiving a scholarship.  My schooling completely depends on what I can figure out financially, and I genuinely want to further my education.  Learning has always been a passion of mine.  So, thank you so much for choosing me as a recipient of the 2024 Tiger Pride Alumni Association scholarship.

 


Aaron Klingler

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend University of Southern Indiana and study Pre-Med.  I then plan on going to Medical School to pursue a career in Pediatric Medicine.
Long-term career goals:  My long term goal is to become a Pediatrician and return to Olney.

Isaac Klingler

Plans after high school:  My plans are to attend University of Southern Indiana and study Business. 
Long-term career goals:  My long term career goals are to get a business career that brings me back to Olney.

Trenton Meadows

Plans after high school:  Attend Olney Central College then to University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign to the medical school there.
Long-term career goals:  I plan to go to medical school to go into the field of Neuroscience possibly going into Neurosurgery.
Expression of thanks:  This scholarship has enabled me to pursue a start to a lengthy education path.  I am extremely thankful for this scholarship.

 


Madison Nelson

Plans after high school:  I will be attending the University of Evansville majoring in Exercise Science and partaking in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Long-term career goals:  I plan to become a physical therapist and work at a rehabilitation institute away from home.  As I begin to start a family, I will consider finding work closer to Olney.
Expression of thanks:  Thank you so much for the generous scholarship you have awarded me!  Every cent counts, as college is expensive, and I could not be more grateful for the help you have provided!

 


Evelyn Potter

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend the University of Illinois to major in Sociology.  I will also minor in Spanish.
Long-term career goals:  I am currently unsure what I want to do after college.  I will remain open-minded to the opportunities school provides to further explore my interests.

Colby Redman

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend McKendree University where I will be playing baseball and majoring in Exercise Science.
Long-term career goals:  After receiving my undergrad degree, I plan to attend Physical Therapy school and become a Physical Therapist.

Kayleigh Stevenson

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend Asbury University in Kentucky to obtain a degree in Business.
Long-term career goals:  My long term goal is to own my own small business.

Isabella Trupiano

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend the University of Evansville and obtain a degree in Business.
Long-term career goals:  Upon gaining my degree, I Plan on returning back to my hometown and using the skills I have acquired to make an impact in the business industry.
Expression of thanks:  I am so grateful to be a recipient of this scholarship and am thankful for the donors who make this possible for students like me. I will continue to move towards my goals and hope to one day repay the favor of giving back to others.

 


Claire Vaal

Plans after high school:  Starting in the Fall of 2024, I will be attending Vanderbilt University to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Psychology.  I will then attend graduate school to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy.
Long-term career goals:  After college, I plan on becoming a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, and I hope to either work in a school setting or outpatient clinic.

Kyrstin Weiler

Plans after high school:  After high school, I plan to attend Olney Central College for one year to graduate with my Associates degree.  I then plan to transfer to a four year college to further my education.
Long-term career goals:  Obtain my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and find a long term position as a teacher.

Emma Wells

Plans after high school:  Attending Souther Illinois University, Edwardsville.  There I will pursue a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Auidology with a minor in Music and Foreign Language.
Long-term career goals:  I hope to find a job in the NICU as a Speech Pathology or in a clinic.  Before that, I will botain my Master's degree and possibly a Doctorate.  After being a Speech-Languag Pathologist, I hope to be able to train upcoming therapists.
Expression of thanks:  Thank you very much for this award.  I appreciate yhour generosity and will do my best to use th award to my best ability.  This will help me continue with my education, which I could not be more grateful. Thank you, again, for this award.
