Plans after high school:  Join the United States Marine Corps

Long-term career goals:  Unsure but maybe have a career in the military and later go to college for film.

Expression of thanks:  I am super grateful for this award and I'm proud of myself for pulling through and achieving this award.


Darby Bissey

Plans after high school:  I will be attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the Fall and plan on majoring in Chemical Engineering.

Long-term career goals:  I am interested in pursuing a space-related or environmental protection career.

Expression of thanks:  Thank you for choosing me to receive the TPAA Scholarship Award.  I truly appreciate your generous gift that will help me continue my education.


Sidnee Boldt

Parent(s):  Lance & Brittany Boldt

Plans after high school:  Go to a two-year college then transfer to a four-year university.  I plan on majoring in Architectural and minoring in interior design.

Long-term career goals:  I plan on becoming an architect and doing interior design on the side.  I hope to become successful and maybe one day open my own firm.  I hop to start a family and one day travel the world after retirement.

Expression of thanks:  I can't thank the people who awarded me enough.  I am honored to receive this scholarship!  Thank you so much! I want to thank my family for helping me get to where I am today and by helping me pursue my dreams and accomplishments.


Dawson Brown

Plans after high school:  Attend college and receive a teaching degree.

Long-term career goals:  Be a positive influence for those around me; become a successful coach; and become a successful teacher.

Expression of thanks:  I'd like to thank my parents, teachers, and coaches for molding me into someone who fits description for this award.  I also want to thank the TPAA for allowing me to receive this award.


Ayden Cothern

Plans after high school:  Go to college.

Long-term career goals:  Be able to retire early.

Tatum David

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend the University of Virginia to begin a pre-medicine track and run cross country/track.

Long-term career goals:  I hope to complete my education at UVA and continue my running career.  I also aspire to become a part of the medical field.  I would love to have a career in pediatrics.

Expression of thanks:  Thank you for choosing me to be a recipient of the 2023 TPAA Scholarship.  I appreciate your generosity.  The scholarship money will go towards my housing costs at the University of Virginia.  Thank you, again.


Jarrett Doll

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend Olney Central College and transfer to a four-year university.

Long-term career goals:  Graduate college, get a job, buy a house, and take over the family business.

Ashton Engledow

Plans after high school:  Attend Olney Central College for one to two years then transfer to law school.

Long-term career goals:  I plan to attend law school and become an attorney.

William Fritchley

Plans after high school:  After high school, I intend to get a summer job then attend Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.  There I will earn a Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, in order to become an Aeronautical Engineer.

Long-term career goals:  I intend to work my way to the top of the pay ladder and maybe start something of my own.  I would, of course, plan for a family in the mix.  I care about family and church then fame and glory.

Expression of thanks:  I am so thankful for all the people who have made me who I am today.  That includes those who have been road blocks that I had to climb over.  However, I doubt anyone who is reading this was one of those people.  Thank you ALL!


Megan Gibson

Plans after high school:  Attend Depauw University with a major in medicine and business.

Long-term career goals:  Become a leader in a place of business at whatever career I end up in.  Earn a Master's degree in either medicine or business.

Expression of thanks:  I am grateful for all of my family, friends, and teachers who have helped me get where I am today.  I appreciate the generosity of the TPAA.  The scholarship money will help with expenses for my future.  Thank you.


Amelia Ginder

Plans after high school:  Attend Olney Central College for my Associates degree and attend Esthetics school.

Long-term career goals:  Open my own esthetics business in my hometown.

Caroline Glover

Plans after high school:  Attend the University of Kentucky to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in History and later attend law school.

Long-term career goals:  Work at a private practice law firm and end goal would be to own and manage my own law firm.

Holden Hough

Plans after high school:  Attend Vincennes University or Unversity of Southern Indiana majoring in Exercise Science.

Long-term career goals:  Become a Physical Therapist.

Mallory Miller

Plans after high school:  I will attend the University of Illinois and double major in Political Science and Journalism through their honors program.  After, I plan on enrolling in law school.

Long-term career goals:  After graduating from the University of Illinois and law school, I plan on becoming a criminal defense attorney.  My goal is to serve citizens from all walks of life and give them the representation they deserve.

Expression of thanks:  Thank you for this scholarship.  This award will allow me to chase my dreams with a smaller financial burden.


Alex Nealis

Plans after high school:  I plan on attending Vincennes University to play golf and get my Bachelors Degree in Surveying Technology Management.

Long-term career goals:  I hope to become a professionally licensed surveyor and work for an engineering company or firm.  I also will try and be active in the community that I settle down in.

Expression of thanks:  I greatly appreciate the Tiger Pride Alumni Association for choosing me as one of the 20 recipients to receive this scholarship.  It will greatly help with college expenses.


Emeline Odgers

Plans after high school:  Attend Daytona State College to finish my Associates Degree then transfer to a four-year university to get a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Forensics.

Long-term career goals:  Become a Forensic Science Technician

Sophia Raines

Plans after high school:  Attend University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to get a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences.

Long-term career goals:  Pursue a position in Ecology, Sutstainability, or Restoration.

Taylor Runyon

Plans after high school:  After high school, I plan on attending the University of Southern Indiana to get my Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry.  Since I am graduating from Olney Central College with my Associates Degree in a few days.  I will be two years ahead and will graduate in 2025.

Long-term career goals:  As for my long term career, I would like to work in the field of Forensics as a Forensics Manager.  I love work in the forensics field, but I also really enjoy business and management, so I am hoping to achieve a management position early on in my career.

Expression of thanks:  I would like to formally give my expression of thanks for receiving this fantastic award.  I am so grateful to use this award money to ehlp my parents pay for my continuing education.  Once again, thank you for this great opportunity.


Sydney Scherer

Plans after high school:  I plan to attend Olney Central College to finish up my general studies then transfer to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to focus on obtaining a degree in Architecture.

Long-term career goals:  One long-term goal is to open my own firm to construct and build houses and a variety of other structures.  Another career goal is to be able to operate my own team by myself.  Lastly, my goal is to be able to have my business in Texas.

Expression of thanks:  I would greatly like to wish you the greatest of thanks for being so generous to me and my fellow classmates.  The scholarship money will be put to good use to be able to take a few steps to my dream as a little girl.  Thank you so much!


Tyler Smashey

Plans after high school:  Attend Olney Central College for two years to receive an Associates Degree in Information Systems Technology and then attend a four-year university to receive a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.

Long-term career goals:  Get a job working as a Network Systems Administrator.
