Otto Robert Von Almen, age 89 of Dobbins Ferry Rd, Memphis, Tennessee died Monday, January 26, 1981 at St. Francis Hospital. Otto was born July 4, 1891 in Olney, Illinois son of Martin R. and Louisa (Eggler) Von Almen. He married Grace Kermicle in Lawrenceville, Illinois in 1925 and she survives.

He was a member of McLemore Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Zula (Herrin) Von Almen and infant daughter in 1924.

He leaves one brother, Joe Von Almen of Newbern, Tennessee; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Kowa and Mrs. Pauline Thompson, both of Olney, Illinois; two sons, Rev. A.M. Von Almen of Gainesville, Georgia and Keith Von Almen of Memphis; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services at McLemore Christian Church with burial in Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home in charge.
