Marie Elizabeth Ryan, 95, of Tennessee and formerly of Olney died Sunday June 14, 2009 in Tennessee.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with graveside services at St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney with Rev. Fathery Jerry Wirth officiating.

Mrs. Ryan was born on October 8, 1913 the daughter of Charls and Elizabeth (Drewes) Fehrenbacher. She married William J. Ryan on October 28, 1939. He preceded her in death.

She was a beautician and an Extension Service homemaker. She was a 4-H club leader, member of Immaculate Conception Women's Club, Altar Society and Brookfield Ministerial Alliance.

Mrs. Ryan is survived by her daughters, Patricia Holland and her husband, Ronald of Brookfield, Mo.; son, W. John Ryan and his wife, Debbie of Greenbrier, Tenn.; son, Thomas C. Ryan and his wife, Charlotte of Brentwood, Tenn.; sister, Dorothy Kovacic and her husband, Peter of Ramona, Calif.; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. Ryan; sister, Cleo Kermicle; and five brothers, Ralph, Joseph, George, Walter and Dean Fehrenbacher.
