I have not noticed any mention of Bill Millspaugh's capture during WWII and of the subsquent torture while a P.O.W..  I noticed, while he trained Rex Shryock and myself prior to our going to the Marine Boot Camp, that he had some sever scarring on his legs.  When I asked him about the scars, he told us that he had been captured and tortured by by the Japanese driving wide slivers of Bamboo through his legs.  He seemed indifferent as to what happened during his time as a P.O.W.  I, for one, will never forget him!
