Susan Bromm, 69, of Olney, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home of an apparent heart attack.
Susan was born on January 17, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisana, the daughter of James and Ruth (Dorney) Landis. She married Jess Bromm on December 4, 1979.
She was a Registered Nurse and had worked in hospitals in St. Louis and Olney. Susan served as Richland County Coroner for 16 years, and had also worked as the Drivers Station Facility Manager for 12 years.
She is survived by her husband, Jess Bromm of Olney; son, Jamie; sister, Patty of Champaign; and stepsons, Jess Paul of Flora, and Jimmy Dale of Olney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Philip.
Cremation Rites were accorded. No service will be held at this time.

Sheila Hagen (Muehling) (1966)
My sincere condolences to Patty and your family. I have not seen you in years but have thought about you and Susie many times. I remember her when we were all in high school. I am sure you, Teresa and I irritated her being that you were the little sister. It was a fun time with many memories.

Sheila is right about Patty, Sheila, and I being bratty younger girls. I do remember Susie being so helpful to me when I was a freshman in high school and still couldn't figure out how to shave my legs without bleeding profusely. So sorry to hear of your loss.
