I live in Yellville , Ar . with my husband who was a boat captain from Louisiana for 43 years. Now we just hang around the house ,travel once in a while, and chill with the pets. Dogs, cats, 2 cockatiels and a Russian tortoise and a ferret. We enjoy the grandkids, although they are getting to be young adults now.I love my craft room and enjoy painting ceramics and canvas and sewing and many other crafts.I enjoy church and teach Children's church once a month ans sub teach kids SS classes as needed. I am co-leader of the T.O.P.S. AR.#553 group. (a weight loss group)-- From Illinois I moved to Louisiana in 1979 and lived in Cajun country till 2006, after Hurricane Katrina . We moved to Ar in March of 2006 and love it here in the mountains.

Hurricane Katrina--we lived 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in Houma, LA. A lot of things were destroyed by the hurricane. We had just light damage to property but my daughter and grand children, who lived in Mississippi lost a lot of everything and the schools were too damaged to reopen for months so they moved to Ozarks where my other daughter lived. My husband had a stroke in 2008 on the boat in Louisiana so had to retire. Enjoy the mountains and occasional snow..
