.jpg) Jeffery H. Leaf, 57, of Olney passed away on November 22, 2014 in Olney, IL.
Jeffery was born on October 5, 1957 in Olney, IL to parents Frederick Leaf and Trella Aline (Fiscus) Clow. He married Jessica (Ballard) Leaf on August 1, 1987 in Richland Co., IL.
Jeff was the biggest and loudest supporter of numerous sports that his family participated in. His smile, his sense of humor, his snort, and the birthday phone calls will be missed. He was an avid Illini fan and Olney Tiger football fan. He also enjoyed watching sports on television, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. Fly high Red Bird, fly high.
Jeff was a member of The Revival Center, the American Legion, the VFW, and the Olney Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Leaf of Olney; son, Jonathan Leaf of Olney; daughter, Brittany Leaf of Olney; mother, Trella Clow of Olney; sisters, Judy Swinson, Julie Leaf, and Tina Clow and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Step-Father, Richard Clow, and five brothers; Larry Leaf, Tommy Allen Leaf, Danny Lee Leaf, Anthony Joel Leaf, and Jonathan Paul Leaf.
Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with private interment of cremains at a later date.

I was saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. I got to know Jeff when he played Little League baseball for me and as he became an adult we would have an occasional conversation about his days playing baseball. He always enjoyed talking baseball, especially about the Cardinals. He will be missed . My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
