Donald Ray "Don" Pinkston, 82, of E Golf Road, Bedford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. He was born on March 11, 1938, in Wolfe City, Texas, a son of the late Herbert Milton Pinkston Sr. and Fausteen (Hyepock) Pinkston.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia; sisters, Ruby N. Axelrod, Denzil “Dee” Clark and his twin, Eula F. Towner; brothers, Herbert M. Pinkston, Jr. and Jimmie D. Pinkston.

He has three surviving sons: Bill Pinkston, of Culpeper Va., Don Pinkston Jr., of Glen Burnie, Md., and Jeffie Pinkston, of Bedford.

Don worked for PennDOT for several years until his retirement. He lived a very interesting life. He enjoyed attending auctions, working on his collections and going to some of his favorite hang outs to socialize.

Don did not want any services and wanted to donate his body to science.
