Mr. Harold L. Mansfield, 75, of Bulpitt, Illinois died Saturday, July 4, 2009, in Taylorville Care Center at Taylorville. Services at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, with Deacon Ray Roth officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date, Glen Haven Memorial Garden, Taylorville.

Mr. Mansfield was born on May 10, 1934, in Olney, the son of Clifford and Gladys Reagan Mansfield. He married Joanne Lindsay. They later divorced. He then married Ethel Mae Schulte on April 2, 1961, in Edwardsville. She survives.

He worked as an oil producer in the petroleum industry.

Mr. Mansfield is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae Mansfield, of Bulpitt; daughter, Cindy (husband Paul “Pat”) Tilley, of Kincaid; sons, Clifford (wife Linda) Mansfield, of rural Taylorville, Jay (wife LuAnn) Mansfield of, Shepherdstown, W.V., Brad (fiancée Angie Watson) Mansfield, of Bulpitt, Mitchel (wife Tresa) Mansfield, of Taylorville; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and half-brother, Larry (wife Carmen) Hudson, of Noble.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Harold K. Mansfield and stepson, Kevin Holstlaw.
