Mrs. Addie (Schwartz) Edmiston, 79, of Noble died Thursday morning, May 15, 1980 in Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney. She was born September 8, 1900 in Richland County, daughter of William and Carrie (Mayden) Schwartz. She married Dr. Glenn F. Edmiston Sr. in 1922 in Richland County and he preceded her in death in 1968.

She was a housewife and a member of Noble Christian Church, Noble Women’s Club and World War I Auxiliary and was a 50-year member of Noble Eastern Star.

Survivors are a son, Glenn F. Edmiston, Jr. of Noble; daughter, Mrs. E.L. (Jane) Whitmer of Lawrenceville; brother, Neal Schwartz of Clay City; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her husband and two sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services in Noble Christian Church with Brothers R.E. Dowden and Martin Stump presiding. Burial in Noble Cemetery.
