Irl D. Pixley - Class Of 1911

Dr. Irl D. Pixley, age forty-three, osteopath who had offices in Noblesville and Anderson, Indiana, died Tuesday night, May 7, 1935 in Indianapolis following a week’s illness.

The funeral was held at Noblesville at the Charles Coaltrin Funeral Home on Logan St. at 8 o’clock Thursday morning with Rev. Elic Wainscott in charge. The funeral cortege left immediately after the service for Olney, Illinois, the birthplace of the deceased.

Brief funeral services were held at the grave this afternoon at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

He is survived by the widow; the mother, who lives at Martinsville and a brother, Dr. Dennis T. Pixley, Danville, Illinois.

Prior to locating at Noblesville several years ago, Dr. Pixley practiced in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Pixley was born in Olney July 11, 1892 son of James E. and Anna (Dewhirst) Pixley.
