Miss Virginia Alice Ferriman, 90, of Springfield, Illinois died Wednesday, February 26, 1986 at her home.

She was born on Aug. 20, 1895, in Olney, the daughter of William and Alice H. (Wilson) Ferriman.

She was a graduate of the University of Illinois and had retired as an employee of the state of Illinois. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Remains were cremated. Private memorial services held, with the Very Rev. Hobart Heistand officiating.

Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
