Miss Wooden Dies In St. Louis Today

The body of Miss Winifred Wooden, age 24, who died in St. Louis Sunday, April 7, 1918 was brought thru Olney today, enroute to Grayville, Illinois where the funeral and burial will take place. The remains were accompanied by Mrs. Ada Wooden of Oklahoma. The transfer was made by Kibler’s.

The funeral was held in the M.E. Church in Grayville with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery there.

Miss Wooden was graduated from the Olney high school six years ago. She was born February 22, 1893 in Illinois, daughter of Dr. David and Ada S. (Patterson) Wooden.
