Mrs. Blanche Belle (Sutterfield) Culp, 72 of Montezuma, Indiana died at the Vermillion County Hospital on Wednesday, August 18, 1971. She was born in Clinton, Illinois, September 28, 1898 the daughter of Ephraim P. Sutterfield and Ida Belle Watson.

(According to the 1920 Richland County Census report, Blanche lived with her aunt, Lucinda Bell on St. John St. in Olney and was a bookkeeper at a local bank.)

She was a member of the Christian Church and the Montezuma Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, George H. Culp Sr.; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Lundgren and Mrs. Barbara Machin, both of Indianapolis; one son, Dale of North Haven, CT; one sister, Mrs. Grace Price, Benton, AR; two brothers, Howard Sutterfield, Wichita Falls, TX and Isaac Sutterfield, Benton; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services at Brown Funeral Home with burial in Oakland Cemetery, Montezuma.
