Howard Frank Patch, 72, died suddenly at his home on North 53rd Street in East St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon, January 5, 1972.
He was the son of Frank and Clara (Zimmerly) Patch. He was born July 7, 1899 in Olney and spent his youth here.
He is survived by his wife, Kate (Boswell) Patch and two children, a daughter, Mrs. Norbert (Patsy) Long of Troy, IL and a son, Joe H. Patch of Indianapolis, IN. There are ten grandchildren. Aaron H. Zimmerly, who is spending the winter in Haines City, FLA, is an uncle.
The Kurrus Funeral Home, East St. Louis is in charge of services which will be held at Chapel Hill Christian Church. Burial is in Mount Hope Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
