Mrs. Daniel (Lillian E. Ferren) Sherwood, 87, of Olney died Sunday, April 7, 1985 in Burgin Manor Nursing Home, Olney.

Services in Zirkle Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.

Mrs. Sherwood was born in Olney, August 15, 1897, daughter of Lewis J. and Ida (Layton) Ferren. She married Daniel Sherwood in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1981.

She was an elementary teacher, a member of First United Methodist Church of Olney and Illinois Retired Teachers Association.

Surviving is her sister, Doris Madden of Olney.
