Mrs. Luvenia (Stearman) Leaf, 74, of Springfield, Illinois, was pronounced dead Thursday, July 28, 1960, on arrival at Memorial Hospital. She had been in ill health.

Coroner W.C. Telford said she apparently died of natural causes but an inquiry will be held.

Mrs. Leaf was born in Kentucky July 4, 1886 daughter of Eliott N. and Delilah C. (Horn) Stearman. She married Howard Leaf October 7, 1909 in Richland County Illinois.

Surviving are her husband, Howard L.; one daughter, Mrs. Charles E. Neubich Jr.; and two grandsons, Charles and Philip Neubich, all of Springfield.

Remains are at Vancil Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Springfield.
