Ethel P. (Fry) Goplen, aged 74 of Richmond, California, and a native of Olney, Illinois,  passed away December 10, 1963. She was born April 6, 1889 in Illinois daughter of Rhoden F. and Catherine V. (Glathart) Fry. She married Arthur A. Goplen and he preceded her in death in 1957.

She was the mother of Mrs. Inez Calp of Gary, IN, Ralph Goplen and twins, Mrs. Deloris Welker and David Goplen, all of Richmond; sister of Ernest Fry of Oakland. Mrs. Goplen is also survived by six grandchildren.

She was a member of the Barrett Avenue Christian Church of Richmond.
