Thurl J. Williamson, 85, of Olney died at his home Saturday, May 9, 1992. Funeral services in the Immanuel United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Prater officiating. Burial in Dundas Cemetery.

Mr. Williamson was born Dec. 30, 1906 in Preston Township, the son of John and Edna Young Williamson. He married Mabel Wilson June 2, 1930 in Preston Township.

Mr. Williamson had taught school in East Richland School District for 42 years, retiring as principal of Central School.

He was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife, Mabel Williamson, of Olney; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Don Prather of Clinton; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Bernice Williamson of Olney; sister, Helen Taylor of Olney; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Emma Bauman Williamson.
