Hazel Klingler (Claremont Elem -3, 4)

Hazel Earnestine Klingler, 86, 215 S. Grant, Olney, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 1988, in Richland Memorial Hospital. Services in Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert W. Smith presiding. Burial in Whitehouse Cemetery (Pleasant Hill Cemetery) in Lawrence County.

Miss Klingler was born Feb. 24, 1902, in Missouri, the daughter of Isaac and Emily Fidelia (McElfresh) Klingler.

She was a retired school teacher, having taught in Richland County schools for 45 years. She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church and the Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include a nephew, Robert K. Sims, Ramona, Calif.; three nieces, Mrs. Patrick (Alberta) Cummins, Olney, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Brinkley, Olney, and Dora Fleming, Albion; and several grand-nieces, grand-nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
