Betty Hubble (Silver Elem)

Betty Hubble, 73, of Olney died Wednesday, November 17, 1993 at Richland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Myers officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hubble was born November 23, 1919, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Horace D. and Grace (Junkins) Nichols. She married Burt Hubble on June 19, 1948 in Olney.

Mrs. Hubble was a retired school teacher. She taught in Olney at Silver School and Noble for 27 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and also was very active in the United Methodist Women’s group and Retired Teachers Association.

Mrs. Hubble is survived by her husband, Burt Hubble of Olney; a son, David W. Hubble and wife Janice of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Patricia) Plath of Rockford, Mary Louise Tibbs of Tucson, Ariz. and Mrs. James (Jean Elizabeth) Brown of Tucson, Ariz.; a aunt, Mildred Junkins of Olney and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Hubble was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Frances.
