Orville G. "Mickey" Wright, 72, of Olney, died Saturday, May 13, 2006, at his residence.  Funeral services, with full military rites performed by Olney Veterans Organizations, at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Wingert officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in rural Claremont.

Mr. Wright was born January 11, 1934, in Lawrence County, the son of Logan and Evangelyn (Reynolds) Wright. He married Joan Bunn on June 29, 1957.

He was a retired school teacher and administrator for East Richland School District. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Wright, of Olney; son, Jeff Wright and his wife Patty, of Olney; grandchildren, Tate Wright, at home, Lacey J. Wright, at home, and Lance Cpl. Levi Wright, in Okinawa, Japan, U.S. Marine Corps; sister, Dorothy Legg, of Bridgeport; and brother, David Wright, of Texas.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents.
