Mildred Lorene Conrad, 82, of Mooresville, Indiana died Friday, February 14, 2003.  She was born May 10, 1920 in Crawford County Illinois,  the daughter of the late Miles H. and Edith H. McGahey Conrad and niece of the late Martin L. and Opal G. Conrad of Camby, Ind.

She was a graduate of the University of Illinois and Indiana State University. She taught 25 years in Illinois, Missouri and Indiana schools. She taught first and second grades at Parkersburg Illinois Elementary School from 1955-1968. She was also employed as the Country Club Manager of Winding Hollow Country Club in Columbus, Ohio for 25 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by her friends and family who loved and cared for her, including a brother, Darrel R. Conrad of Palestine, Ill.

Services in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, Indianapolis, Ind. with entombment at Washington Park North Cemetery.
