Kathleen C. Boswell, 81, of Olney, died Wednesday, April 6, 1994, at Richland Memorial Hospital. Graveside services at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Boswell was born Sept. 14, 1912, in Opdyke, the daughter of Homer Alexander and June (Strouse) Moore. She married Ralph O. Boswell March 31, 1933. He died May 25, 1993.

She was a retired teacher in Mt. Vernon, Parkersburg and Olney schools. She also taught at Parkersburg Elementary School, teaching 5th and 6th grades from 1957-1959. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, and Richland Country Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sue Ann) Quayle of Olney; and four grandchildren, Martha Quayle, Jon Quayle, Michael McCormick and Katherine McCormick.

Boswell was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Martha) E. McCormick.
