Marie D. Ramsey, 85, 231 Bower St., Olney died Saturday, August 29, 1987 at Richland Memorial Hospital. Services in the chapel of Summers Funeral Home, Olney, the Rev. Donald Kline presiding. Burial in Trexler-Kedrin Cemetery, rural Newton.

Mrs. Ramsey was born November 11, 1901 in Newton, the daughter of John E. and Della M. (Wooden) Dyson. Mrs. Ramsey married Ross D. Ramsey on November 10, 1949. He preceded her in death June 18, 1987.

She was a retired school teacher, having taught in Olney schools for more than 45 years. She was a member of the Retired Teacher’s Association.

She is survived by a stepson, Eugene of Albion; one brother, Dean Dyson of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Madeline Files of Washington and several nieces and nephews, including Diane Coup and Fred Snider.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
