Mrs. Meradith K. Finch, 59, of 412 E. York St., Olney passed away Thursday April 8, 1971 at the Richland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services in the Chapel of the Zirkle Mortuary with the Rev. David A.McNabb officiating. Interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Grayville, Ill.

Mrs. Finch was born August 23, 1911 in Grayville, a daughter of Alfred M. and Ada (Blair) Kershaw. She was united in marriage with John D. Finch June 14, 1946 in Sullivan, Illinois.

She taught school a total of 27 years, including teaching in the East Richland School System since coming to Olney in 1954. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Grayville, Grayville Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and The Daughters of the American Revolution in Olney.

In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. John (Mary) C. Warren and nephew, David of Tonawanda, New York.
