Omer Robinson, 81, of Lawrenceville, Illinois died Tuesday (November 1983) in Lawrence County Hospital in Lawrenceville.  Services in Nichols-Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Burial in Busby Cemetery in Goreville.

Mr. Robinson was born February 2, 1902 in Clay County, the son of Fred and Fannie (Vaylor) Robinson. He married Gladys Cox in 1928 in Carbondale and she survives.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Lawrenceville.

Robinson was a school teacher for 36 years, having taught math and shop at the Junior High in Olney.

Other survivors include two sons, Frank, Murry, Ky; Leland of Junction City, Kans; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
