Bernice May (Wieland) Landenberger, 93, a resident of Living Center East, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 27, 1988 in St. Luke’s Hospital, following a lingering illness.

She was born June 6, 1894 at Olney, Illinois daughter of Caleb F. and Lulu (St. John) Wieland. She married Dr. James C. Landenberger in 1917 in Olney, Ill., they divorced in 1936.

Surviving is a sister, Loraine Piersall of Cedar Rapids.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Esther Trimble.

Services held at Turner Chapel East, by the Rev. John Gilmore of Hus Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
