John “Quincy” Adams, 40 of Olney died Thursday, September 4, 1997 at his residence. Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney, burial in Maple Dale Cemetery.

Adams was born November 10, 1956 in Odessa, Texas, the son of Robert Earl and Alta (Adcock) Adams.

He worked at Roadmaster in Olney and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

He is survived by his parents, of Olney; girlfriend, Cherri Walls and her daughter, Brandy of Olney; one brother, James Adams of Olney; one sister, Vicki Hickox and husband, Randy of Burnsville, Miss; maternal grandfather, Henry Adcock; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
