Cathy Jo Kobbe, 45, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away Jan. 6, 2003 in a local hospital. A native of Illinois, Cathy was born May 16, 1957.  Her parents are Jean and Joan Raber Jennings of Olney, Illinois.

Mrs. Kobbe is survived by her husband Fred Kobbe; two daughters, Crystal Piland Midwood and her husband Jerry of California and Marie Lorraine Kobbe of Virginia Beach; three sons, Edward Piland of Illinois, Billy Piland and Fred Kobbe, both of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her sister, Debra Fehrenbacher and her husband Bart; a brother, Dennis Jennings and his wife Jo Ann; her parents, Jean and Joan Jennings of Illinois; and several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service conducted at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, with the Rev. Ronald W. Lee officiating.

Cathy attended ERHS her freshman thru junior years, 1972-1974
