Peggy McCord Berger Class of 1946Peggy M. Berger, 70, of Olney, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1998, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Jeff Kennedy officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery, near Claremont. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Berger was born Jan. 26, 1928, in Dawson Springs, Ky., the daughter of Hansel and Lucille (Pace) McCord. She married Fred Berger Nov. 11, 1944. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Albion.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Ronald K Berger and his wife, Dianne, Donald Ray Berger and his wife, Diana Jo, and Kevin Berger and his wife, Aline, all of Albion; two half-brothers, James McCord, of Lake Tahoe, Nev., and Kevin McCord, of Ridgeville, S.C.; one half-sister, Patty Hurst, of Louisville, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
