Edward Meadows - Class Of 1946

Edward Meadows Class of 1946Edward Meadows Sr., 80, of Noble, died Saturday, May 25, 2008, at his residence. Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Bursott officiating.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont with full military rites by Olney veterans.

Mr. Meadows was born May 26, 1927, in Richland County, the son of Lloyd and Susie (Foerster) Meadows. He married Carolyn Henby on December 17, 1955. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of American Legion.

He is survived by wife, Carolyn Meadows, of Noble, daughter, Debbie Anderson and Larry, of Noble, daughter, Shirley Meadows and Bill Phillips, of Olney, son, Edward Meadows, Jr., of Noble, son, Randy Meadows and Treva Fitzhugh, of Noble, son, Dave Meadows and Holly, of Noble, son, Danny Meadows and Stacey, of Albion, sister, Ada Greenwood, of Casper, Wyo., sister, Katherine Brock, of Salt Lake City, Utah, seven grandchildren, Dennis, Amy, Aaron, Ashley, Abby, Aden and Emma, one great-grandchild, Haylee, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, and three brothers, Fred, Bill and Frosty.
