Wildon "Bill" Welker, 86, of Olney, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Graveside services at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Bill was born October 1, 1929 in Olney, the son of Harry Doit and Mary Jane (Slater) Welker.  He married Betty (Johnson) on August 14, 1948.  She preceded him in death on July 4, 2006.

He is survived by his daughters, Beverly (Wendell) Dillard of Houston, TX and Nancy (Max) Rinnert of Pensacola, FL; sons, Steven Welker of Olney and James (Lynne) Welker of Dundas, IL; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, James D. Welker.
