Barbara Gail Lynch, 61, of Casey, passed away at 6:50 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County.

At her request, no services were held. Markwell Funeral Home in Casey was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lynch was born January 6, 1955, in Olney, the daughter of Clarence Eugene and Margie Lois (McCurdy) Lame. She married Robert Junior Lynch on August 26, 1977, in Olney. He survives.

Barbara was the former manager of the Dollar General Store in Casey. She had previously worked at Subway and Dollars N’ Sense in Casey. Barbara was an avid reader. She will be sadly missed by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Lynch, of Casey; daughter, Rebecca Lynch, of Tucson, Ariz.; sons, Jeremy Lynch, of Casey, and Justin Lynch, of Martinsville; stepdaughter, Tammy Lynch, of Salem; stepgrandchildren, Devon Fitch and Matthew Fitch; brother, Ted Lame, of Olney; sister, Peggy Kermical, of Dundas; stepmother, Lorena Lame, of Olney; many nieces and nephews; and her precious Yorkie, Baxter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rick Lame.
