Elwanda Hough (McCraw) - Class Of 1945

Elwanda Dale (Hough) McCraw, 88, of Olney, died Monday, January 12, 2015, at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Beau Brown and Father Bill Rowe officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. McCraw was born November 17, 1926, in Olney, the daughter of Roy and Mildred Patterson Hough. She married Frank A. Blank Jr. December 8, 1967. He preceded her in death February 18, 1986. Elwanda married George "Sid" McCraw on May 20, 2000.

Elwanda worked at International Shoe Factory and Florsheim Shoes for 35 years. She also worked at Walmart as a greeter. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Elwanda enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews as well as the great-nieces and great-nephews. She took pleasure in decorating her home, especially around the holidays.

She is survived by her husband, George "Sid" McCraw, of Olney; sister, Bonnie Hill, of Olney; brother, Jerry Joe Hough (Charlotte), of Olney; James Roy Hough (Sue), of Olney; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hough, of Olney; stepson, Glen McCraw and wife Sharon, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; one aunt; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Frank A. Blank Jr., and brother, Pat Hough.
