Bobby R. Hout - Class Of 1949

Bobby R. Hout, 71 of Olney died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Brother Jim Thomas and Brother Glenn Fehrenbacher officiating.  Burial with full military rites in Sumner City Cemetery.

Mr. Hout was born July 25, 1932 in Lawrence County, the son of Palmer and Leona (White) Hout.  He married Patricia Jackson on February 17, 1965.   She survives.

He was retired from the oil-field industry and was a membr of North Freedom Church.  He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a member of VFW, American Legion and Petroleum Club.

Mr. Hout is survived by two daughters, Cindy Means of Jonesville, Mich. and Janet Roush of Dundas; a son, Brian Hout of Newton; three brothers, Jerre Hout of Olney, Danny Hout of Noble and Gary Hout of Bedford, Ind.; three sisters, Nona Rusk of Altamont, Darlene Elliott of Jonesville, Mich. and Kay Paddick of Olney and five grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
