Gerald Dee Heady, age 91 of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away on November 7, 2021. Gerald was born in Olney, Illinois to Oscar and Beatrice Heady on February 7, 1930.

He spent most of his working career as a diesel mechanic at United Engine Manufacturing.

Gerald lived his life to the fullest and liked keeping busy. He had many interests, including tending to his vegetable gardens, fishing, and traveling any time he had the opportunity. Gerald will be dearly missed by his family and all the friends he made throughout his life.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Lois Heady, his daughter, Dorothy Midkiff, a grandson, Douglas Thompson, and two great-grandchildren, Johnathan Thompson and Valerie Thompson.
