Phyllis Lee Barre (Harms) - Class Of 1949

SAVOY – Angels came to deliver Phyllis Lee Patterson Harms, 81 into the arms of Jesus on Friday, April 12, 2013. There will be no visitation or funeral. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Vincennes, Ind.

She was born Dec. 8, 1931, in Olney, a daughter to Ralph and Bertha Barre. She was married in Olney on Jan. 7, 1949, to Merl (Pat) Patterson, who preceded her in death Dec. 7, 1971. She later was married to Delbert W. Harms I, at St. Boniface Church, Seymour, on March 29, 1974. He preceded her in death June 21, 1980.

She is survived by a daughter, Sue Wade (Bill) of Savoy; a grandson, Ryan Wade of Champaign; two great-granddaughters; a brother, Charles Barre (Christy) of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.  A brother, William Barre, died July 30, 2004.

During her adult life, she lived in Champaign and Monticello, as well as Carlsbad, N.M. and Colorado Springs, Colo. She loved camping, fishing, Rambo and Reba.
