Bradley W. Eckiss, 52, of Oologah, Oklahoma, and formerly of Olney, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014, in Oolagah, Oklahoma following a brief bout with cancer.

Celebration of Life services held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Pastor Dale Akers officiating. A time of visiting and sharing will follow services at the funeral home.

Mr. Eckiss was born October 3, 1962, in Olney, the son of Richard W. and Lois A. (Fisher) Eckiss. He married Barbara St. Clair on May 8, 1992, in Olney. She survives.

Bradley attended East Richland schools in Olney, graduating in 1981.

He was a loving stepfather to Barbara's three children, Jackson, Sasha and Richard. Brad and Barbara moved to Oklahoma in 1996. For the past several years, Brad was employed as a ranch hand on the Diamond-in-the Rough Ranch, a job he loved.

Mr. Eckiss is survived by his wife, Barb, of Oolagah, Oklahoma; three step-children, Jackson Nichols, Sasha Nichols Lege're, and Richard Prentice III; his parents, Richard W. and Lois A. (Fisher) Eckiss, of Olney; brother, David L. Eckiss, of Olney; sister, Charlotte A. Eckiss Prieur, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; sister, Kathy Hixon and husband Tom, of Claremont; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cleo and Gladys Eckiss, and maternal grandparents, Norvon and Vena Fisher.
