Mary A. Wingert, 78, of Olney, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Services at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home with burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park.

Mary Ann was born on November 30, 1937 in Olney, the daughter of Harry and Agnes (Tucker) Palmer.  She married James Wingert on December 3, 1955 at the Free Methodist Church in Olney.

Mary Ann was a Sunday School Teacher and Bible study leader, working within childrens' programming at the Free Methodist Church.  She doted on her grandchildren and attended all of their school events.   She enjoyed her pets and feeding birds.  Mary Ann was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Olney.

She is survived by her husband, James Wingert of Olney; son, Steve Wingert and wife, Liesl of Olney; grandsons, Zachary, Tanner, and Joshua and fiance, Hannah; granddaughter, Cali; sister, Janet Henry and husband, Gordon of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Norma Robins and Judy Ferguson.
