Neil W. McVaigh, 50, of Parkersburg, IL died at 8:32 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at his residence.

Funeral services at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Mr. McVaigh was born on Aug. 21, 1952, in Seattle, WA, the son of Eugene M. and Glenna F. (Jones) McVaigh.

He was a self-employed farmer; a member of West Salem Ruritan Club; and served in the National Guard in Lawrenceville.

Mr. McVaigh is survived by his father, Eugene McVaigh, of Parkersburg; a son, Brian N. McVaigh and his wife, Valerie, of Calhoun; two brothers, Albert R. McVaigh and his wife, Betty, of Calhoun, and Jimmy L. Mcvaigh and his wife, Trachie, of Mt. Carmel.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenna McVaigh, in 1993.
