Curt Inyart, 54, of Vandalia and formerly of Claremont, died at 1:25 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2011, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia.

Cremation rites were accorded. There will be a private family service and a service for friends held at a later date. Minister Ben Woollard will officiate.

Mr. Inyart was born November 22, 1956, in Colorado Springs, Colo., the son of Ralph Jr. and Emma (Pitzer) Inyart.

He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Emma Inyart, of Olney; sister, Marilyn Bauman and her husband, Tom, of Olney; brother, Jeff Inyart and his wife, Patricia, of Claremont; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Inyart was preceded in death by a half-brother, Robert Labrie.
