Ruth Ensor - Class Of 1914

Miss Ruth Ensor of Royal Oak, Michigan passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Helen Smith of Westerville, Ohio on May 6, 1955.

Miss Ensor taught art and music in the Royal Oak, Michigan schools for 27 years. She also served the Rotary Club as musician for 21 years.

She was born in Parkersburg but moved to Olney while quite young, attending the Olney schools and was a member of the Class of 1914. She attended the class reunion last May in Olney and enjoyed her visit very much, seeming to be in perfect health. Later in the summer she became ill, was operated on for cancer and never regained her health.

While living in Olney, she was a member of the First United Brethren Church, but later transferred to the First Presbyterian in Royal Oak.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clara King and Mrs. Helen Smith, both of Westerville, Ohio; by two brothers, Howard Ensor of Rochester, N.Y. and Ernest Ensor.
