Olney Man Dies Following Gun Accident

Guy Warren Stadge, 24 of Olney died at about 9:15 p.m. Monday in his home, after accidentally shooting himself, according to Richland County Coroner, Wayne Zirkle.

Zirkle said the shooting was still under investigation, but is not believed to be a suicide.

An inquest will be held later.

Guy Stadge, 24, 420 West Cherry, died late Monday evening, November 24, 1980,  as the result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to acting coroner, Wayne Zirkle.

Stadge was born April 6, 1956 in Olney, the son of James V. and Sally (Warren) Stadge. He was employed by RAM Oil.

He is survived by hs parents; two brothers, Todd and Tony at home; three sisters, Carla and Tracy of Olney, Kelly Swinson, Green River, Wyo.; grandmothers, Bernice Warren and Pauline Stadge, both of Olney, and several nieces and nephews.
