Ethel Peneton (Vick) - Class Of 1910

Mrs. Nora Ethel (Peneton) Vick, 59 of Lafayette, Indiana died Sunday May 7, 1950 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind. after an extended illness.

She was born July 4, 1890 in Olney, Illinois daughter of John W. and Jennie (Trainer) Peneton. She married Elmer Keith Vick in 1911, he died in 1931.

She resided in Lafayette for 39 years, working as seamstress and furrier in many of the local stores until four years ago. She was a member of the Congress Street Methodist Church.

Surviving are the father, John Wesley Peneton; a son, Vincent; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Shields and Mrs. Elma Miller; two brothers, James Ephriam and John Peneton; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Haas and Mrs. Katie Brooks, all of this city.
