Donald Vern Eichin, 55, of Fullerton, California died October 23, 1947 in Fullerton.  Burial in Loma Vista Cemetery, Fullerton.

Vern was born September 18, 1892 in Olney, Illinois a son of William J. and Georgianna Heltman Eichin.  He married Genevieve Smith on September 1, 1917 in Elkhart, Indiana.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Illinois U.S. Naval Reserve Force, Class 4, 9th Naval District. He was an electrician.

He is survived by a brother, Raymond Earl Eichin and a sister, Mable A. Eichin.
