Knowlton Twp. - Funeral services were held Saturday for Leo M. Chesrown, 84, of Columbia R.D., who was pronounced dead on arrival June 30, 1977 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

He was a member and elder of the Delaware Presbyterian Church and had served on both of Township Board of Education and Planning Board. He was secretary of the Knowlton Township Board of Trade.

Born in Olney, Illinois in 1892, he was a son of the late Leslie and Mary Babbitt Chesrown. He lived in this area for 36 years, moving from Short Hills.

Surviving are two nephews.

Services in the Macfadden Funeral Home in Belvidere. Interment in Remsysburg Cemetery, Delaware.
