Max Alfred Balmer, 85, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away October 29, 1978 in Seattle, Washington.  Burial in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Max was born December 26, 1892 in Richland County, Illinois.  He married Esther S. Balmer.

He was a locomotive engineer and fireman on the Sante Fe Railroad and had worked in Chicago, Illinois.
